Fifteen Weeks Without Power…Then the Angels Arrived

After three hurricanes tore through our community, one of our Angel families — a retired veteran named Dan — lived 15 weeks without electricity while water leaked into his home. Kind neighbors ran extension cords so he could keep a small refrigerator and his computer running. He was simply trying to survive.

But God had other plans.

Through the generosity of Morningstar Electric, Dan’s electrical service was restored. Beyel Brothers donated their crane and team to remove the massive tree from his roof. Quality Roofing replaced his entire roof. Angel volunteers cleared fallen limbs, and Tyger Tree Company hauled away all the debris. VShine Cleaning stepped in to thoroughly clean his home so he could safely move back inside.

During an interview with Channel 13 News, Dan shared words that touched all of our hearts:

“I was simply existing, not living… existing.” Those words remind us why Angel Foundation FL exists.

As the work was completed, Dan said through tears: “And I thank the Lord for them.” Then came the words that captured everything: “Now… I’m being delivered.”
